The challenge

Cyber-recovery spanned five fragmented capabilities: recovery planning, dependency mapping, threat analysis, scanning, and clean rooms. Teams needed a connected view to navigate complex recovery decisions.

My contribution

I led UX research and synthesized more than 40 enterprise stakeholder interviews. The deck documents 47 research sessions across eight customers and nine features. Three priorities emerged: unify the recovery ecosystem, clarify terminology and guide decisions, and elevate actionable intelligence and automation. These included contextual guidance, an authoritative view of recovery points and system health, and support for exceptions through manual overrides and custom recovery ordering. Informed by CISA guidance, that research shaped a unified platform and brought user needs into conversations with Product and Engineering.

The impact

The unified experience improved task completion by 35% and increased customer satisfaction from 3.2 to 4.8.
